Please read the Terms and Conditions of World of Linens (Terms) carefully as by placing an order you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to them.

  1. This website and the Terms have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and are made under English law. By using the website you agree to this and submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and that these Terms will apply to the supply of any goods made to you by World of Linens (Goods).
  2. The website and its contents are provided by World of Linens without any representation or warranty of any kind in respect of the website and/or its content. You must bear the risks associated with the use of the Internet. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any content on the website or access to the website.
  3. The provisions of these conditions relate exclusivity to the supply of Goods within the United Kingdom. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for Goods and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, separate arrangements with regard to price, delivery and payment will apply. You should therefore contact our Customer Services department, details of which are given at the end of these terms, for any non-UK requirements.
  4. We give no warranty, that use of the website, including the placing of orders from outside the UK, complies with any non-UK legislation. Goods, promotions or credit terms not permitted under any such legislation are therefore not offered to users in such territories.

  5. A Contract for the sale of Goods will arise at the point at which an order has been processed and the Goods dispatched. The credit/debit card the details of which you provided to us with your order will be charged for the value of the Goods sent, plus delivery charges where appropriate.
  6. Prices and availability of Goods are subject to change without notice. Where the price of Goods has increased since the date of your order you will be notified accordingly prior to Goods being dispatched.

  7. Your Right to Cancel
  8. You may cancel your order at any time up until the point of dispatch. If you choose to cancel your order prior to dispatch then any payments that were made by you will be refunded to the credit or debit card from which they were taken within 30 days.

    If your order has already been dispatched, you will need to return the Goods to us, following the return or exchange item instructions below.

  9. Returns Policy
  10. You are entitled to return Goods within seven days of receipt subject to compliance with our returns policy as set out in this Clause 7. Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

  • Where Goods are returned, provided that they are returned in perfect condition, unused, complete and with the original packaging we shall exchange or provide a refund of the price of the Goods.

    World of Linens does not accept liability for any costs incurred for the return of Goods, unless in the opinion of World of Linens the Goods are faulty.
    If exchanging Goods and the new items you require costs less than the ones you have returned we will refund you the difference.

    If exchanging Goods and the new items you require cost more than the one you returned an additional payment to cover the balance will be required.
    All items that are exchanged will incur a new delivery charge at the then current rate, unless they are deemed faulty by us, in which case no further delivery charges will arise.

    Where items of clothing are supplied, these items cannot be exchanged or returned for hygiene reasons if the packaging seal is broken.
    Refunds for items bought can only be made to the original credit/debit card used for the purchase.

    *Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. Goods must be returned in their original packaging together with any enclosed documentation.

  • Faulty Item Returns
    If the Goods you received are faulty, please contact our customer services department http://www.worldtest.worldoflinens.com/Contact_us.asp or alternatively call 0870 042 7025 quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the defect and whether you require a refund or a replacement. You will then be given an authorization number and advised on how to proceed with the return. You have 7 working days from the day after receipt of the faulty Goods to return them to us.
  • Wrong item Received Returns
    If the Goods you received are not what you originally ordered, please contact our customer services department quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the Goods ordered / received and whether you require a refund or a replacement. You will then be given an authorization number and advised on how to proceed with the return. You have 7 working days from the day after receipt of the item to return them to us.
  • Discount codes & vouchers
    If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.

  • For all returns you are strongly advised to obtain proof of postage and condition at point of posting. World of Linens cannot accept responsibility for parcels which have been lost or damaged in transit.


  • The cost of returning the Goods to us is your responsibility unless Goods are faulty.


  • All returns should include the original invoice for the goods (though you are advised to keep one copy of the invoice for your own records) to enable us to process the return as quickly as possible.
    This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

  1. Methods of Payment
  2. We accept online payment by credit/debit card only. We currently accept MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Delta and American Express. All transactions are in pounds sterling (£). Prices quoted are in pounds sterling (£) and are correct at the time of publication.

    Where appropriate prices are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 17.5%.

  • We use Parcel Force to deliver our goods. All deliveries take place between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and need to be signed for at the address they are being delivered to. If there is no one available to accept the delivery, a second attempt will be made on the next available working day. If the second attempt your order has not been delivered, you will be required to collect the goods from your local Parcel force depot. Details can be found on the card left by the delivery driver. Alternatively, if you still require delivery after this, a further delivery payment will be requested.
  • Once your order has been dispatched we are unable to change the delivery address. If you have made a mistake when placing your order and wish to change the shipping address please contact us as soon as possible by telephoning 0870 042 7025.


  • Any deliveries to offshore or remote areas may be subject to an additional cost. These include Scottish Highlands and islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man and The Republic of Ireland. Please contact us for more information before placing your order.Delivery charges and promises for any non-UK orders can be obtained from our Customer Services Department.

Use of this website to place an order for goods signifies that you have consented to the collection processing and use of personal information by us for the purpose of administering and dealing with your order or account, market research, processing your payments, credit/debit reference checking and fraud detection, We may choose to use this information for marketing for ourselves and carefully chosen partner companies. Any changes to this policy will be posted on this site.

  3. Disclaimer & Limitations of liability
  • To the fullest extent allowed by law and save as provided above, neither World of Linens nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of the World of Linens or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential damage or loss (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the Goods or their use or resale by you.

  • While World of Linens makes reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate, it does not provide any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arsing from the use of such information.

  • World of Linens shall not be responsible nor liable for your use of any other websites which you may access through hyperlinks placed within this website. These websites are not controlled by World of Linens and we are not responsible for their content. Such links are offered as a service to users of this website and their inclusion does not constitute an endorsement of or affiliation with any such site.


  • World of Linens will not be liable to you or be deemed to have been in breach of the contract in the case of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered if the delay or failure was the result of any cause beyond its reasonable control. Time for delivery of Goods shall not be of the essence of the contract.


  • The extent of any liability of World of Linens arising under the contract for the supply of Goods to you shall not exceed the price of the Goods, except as expressly provided in these Terms.

  1. World of Linens is entitled to assign or transfer any of its rights or sub-contract any of its obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party. Except with the specific permission in writing of World of Linens, you may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub-contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.


  2. World of Linens takes every care to ensure that the description prices and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. We endeavour to ensure that the colour reproduction of representation of Goods is accurate; however we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.


  3. No person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have any right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Nothing in these conditions is intended nor shall affect any of your statutory rights that may not be legally excluded.
  4. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
